100% occupancy rates "Trading 101" Khor Fakkan Branch

Sharjah, March 15 / WAM / The Small and Medium Enterprises Center “Trade 101”, affiliated with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recorded an occupancy rate of 100% during the first quarter of 2026 at its headquarters in the city of Khor Fakkan.
In conjunction with the Chamber’s registration over the past year of a growth in membership amounting to 14%, which provides “Trade 101” members with a wide network of business relationships that opens up horizons for growth and expansion in local and international markets.
“Trade 101” attracted various pioneering projects covering promising economic sectors, from information technology and the digital economy to the food and hospitality sectors, logistics services and light industries.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, confirmed that the exceptional results achieved by the “Trade 101” Center reflect the success of the strategic vision upon which the Center was founded since its launch in 2019, which is based on providing an integrated incubating environment that enables Emirati youth to transform their ambitions into sustainable economic projects that contribute to supporting the comprehensive national development process.
Al-Awadhi added that the Eastern Region is witnessing a qualitative leap in infrastructure projects and eco-tourism, as the Chamber’s role is embodied in supporting entrepreneurs in various regions of the emirate by providing cognitive, technical, legal and marketing support and linking those affiliated with the Small and Medium Enterprises Center with the Chamber’s broader system, which includes annual exhibitions and a network of international relations with Asian and African markets, and qualitative opportunities that give emerging projects a competitive advantage that accelerates their growth and builds Emirati brands that compete in regional and international markets.
For her part, Mona Omran Ali, Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Center “Trade 101”, revealed the center’s aspirations to open a new headquarters in the Eastern Province to complement the success of the Khor Fakkan branch, which opened in April 2024 and achieved a full occupancy rate within a short period. She explained that the center places training entrepreneurs as a top priority by designing specialized programs in accordance with the highest standards in business management and operation, covering vital sectors and integrated consultations that include administrative, legal and marketing consultations and media coverage services.
In the context of capacity building, the “Trade 101” Center offers qualitative training programs that enable young people to manage and develop their projects with high professionalism. The matrix of training programs includes managing and organizing exhibitions in line with Sharjah’s position as a regional and global pole for exhibitions and conferences, auditing, tax collection, e-commerce, translation, design, graphic photography, and the hospitality sector.
The Center is keen to involve its members in major marketing events, to connect small and medium enterprises with local and international markets, investing in the Sharjah Chamber system and the exhibitions it sponsors at the Expo Center Sharjah, in addition to participating in the “Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival” and the Graduates Festival, and other events.
The Center also organizes ongoing guidance seminars to enhance investment and commercial awareness.
