Greece announces a series of tax cuts to support the middle class and families

Athens, September 7 / WAM / Greek Prime Minister Kyricus Mitsotakis announced yesterday evening a series of tax cuts aimed at supporting the middle class, Greek families and youth.

“We support society, despite the fact that we must spend money on our national defense in the coming years, but I do not make concessions regarding the security of the country, and we add a new share to our jam to combat the demographic problem,” he said, explaining that tax discounts will be applied to the revenues of Greek families as of next year.

The Prime Minister indicated that families with four children will not pay any taxes; His country applies a model inspired by the French model, so that the tax cuts increase as the number of children in the family increases.
