"Islamic affairs and endowments" Release "Institutional Excellence Award"
Abu Dhabi, September 8/ WAM/ The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat launched the “Authority Award for Institutional Excellence” with the aim of encouraging and supporting distinguished administrative and professional practices in the authority in a way that contributes to the communication of the culture of excellence, and supporting the government excellence march in the UAE state and to be a reference that enables organizational units and individuals to rise to advanced levels of institutional maturity in A continuous march towards excellence and leadership.
The launch and approval of this award came during the first meeting of the Excellence and Strategy Committee and the future in the authority, which was held in Abu Dhabi headed by His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, President of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Al -Neyadi, Director General of the Authority, Executive Directors and officials in it and discussed a number of axes related to promoting the culture of institutional excellence and discussing the map of institutional excellence in the body that encourages innovation and creativity.
In this regard, the authority affirmed its keenness to consolidate the concept of excellence in implementation of the vision of the rational leadership and in line with the state’s strategy in adopting best practices and enhancing a culture of excellence, noting that this award was designed to be compatible with the criteria of the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Excellence in Governmental Performance, to consolidate and support distinguished administrative and professional practices in the authority, its branches, centers and mosques spread in the various emirates of the state, Celebrate the owners of achievements, motivate employees to raise the level of government performance, and encourage innovation.
The Excellence Awards Program for this award consists of four categories, the first category is the main institutional awards, and is awarded to the distinguished organizational units in several fields, including the field of innovation and the achievement of vision and performance, the second category of institutional sub -awards in the field of work teams, the branches of the authority, the memorization and mosques centers, and the third category special prizes directed to the best management in the bureaucracy and empowerment For individuals, it includes various and specialized levels in various fields.
