Ahmed bin Hamdan: The first Emirati team will be established to participate in a race " CGB" Global
Abu Dhabi, September 17 / WAM / Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Federation for Modern Rowing and Rowing, confirmed that the agenda of the new season includes major events, most notably the “Asia Obtamt” championship in the Sultanate of Oman, which will be held during the period from October 25 to the first of November, and the international championship “Al -Kait Service”, in Abu Dhabi and will be held during the period from October 25 to November 2, 2025.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan announced that the first Emirati team will be established to participate in the global “GP” sailing race, which will see the light in the coming years, in addition to the development programs of the Federation, for coaches, referees, players and administrators, within the Olympic Solidarity Program.
He revealed in a statement today that participation will be participated in the meeting of the International Federation of Positioning in Ireland during the period from 2 to 8 November, in addition to the Mubadala Championship for Sail GP in Abu Dhabi over the course of November 29 and 30.
He explained that the UAE, with the support and care of the wise leadership of all sports, has achieved many global achievements, including the sport of sail and modern blasphemy, as it is a modern sport that received the interest of clubs in the country.
He said that the UAE will host a major event in the Hamriyah club, which is the Asian Sa`i Championship at the end of this year, with the participation of Asian countries, which contributes to developing the capabilities and skills of the Emirates, through friction with the elite of the heroes.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan described the UAE Federation for the recent law and blasphemy obtaining a certificate of accreditation by the International Federation of Sanea as a global center for development and training in modern sailor sports, as a strategic step, confirming the confidence of the international community in the people of the state, its capabilities to develop modern sail sport, with the efforts of the Federation and Clubs, and positive cooperation, to spread this sport in society.
He expressed his pride in the efforts of Emirati women and their achievements in the sport of sail and modern blasphemy, through the honorable results in international forums, pointing to work to adopt advanced programs, to create the appropriate environment to spread the concept of this sport, expand the women’s base, and encourage women and all groups of society to participate and raise the Emirates flag in all international forums.
