McLeri confirms his participation in the Hero Dubai Dizer Classic Golf Championship 2026
Dubai, September 17/ WAM/ World Golf Star Rorre McLeroi, the champion of the major championship “Grand Salam”, announced his participation in the Hero Dubai Disarter Classic Championship hosted by the Emirates Golf Club from January 22 to 25, 2026.
McLeri has five major titles, the most recent of which was his victory in the United States Championship at Agosta National Stadium and is currently leading the world ranking of “race to Dubai”, and leads the European team to defend the Rider Cup next week.
The Northern Irish star aspires to win the “Dallah” championship for the fifth time in his career, after he was crowned in 2009, 2015, 2023 and 2024.
The upcoming participation of Lakhloui happened to the 20th anniversary of his first appearance in the championship in 2006 as an amateur player, before achieving his first professional titles in the 2009 edition, and his regular presence in the championship represents evidence of his strong association with Dubai and its fans and considers it a “second home” for him.
“This year was special for me, and I am enthusiastic about the new season … Hero Dubai Dizer Classic is always from the championships closest to my heart, and I look forward to returning to the Emirates Golf Club in January … the public support in Dubai is great, which makes it the ideal place for the start of the year.”
