15 medals for the UAE Special Olympics team in the World Cup "Mai Tae"
Abu Dhabi, September 18 / WAM / The UAE Special Olympics team won 15 gold participation during the World Tai World Championship in Abu Dhabi.
The team presented a distinguished level in the training training performance through competitions that were designed for them according to the best global practices from the Emirates Union of Moe Tai and Cake Boxing.
The player Nofal Moataz confirmed that participation in the tournament gave them a great moral boost for the upcoming entitlements, especially since the tournament witnessed a great participation of 1200 players and players representing 100 countries.
For his part, Mohamed Abadif, coach of the UAE Special Olympics team, stressed the importance of the initiatives implemented by the Federation to provide a comprehensive competitive environment for people of determination in international championships.
In turn, Ali Khoury, a member of the Board of Directors of the Moay Tai and Cake Boxing Union, explained that organizing competitions for people with determination reflects the vision of the rational leadership in supporting, empowering and integrating this category into the sports system, reflecting the state’s firm commitment to enhancing totalitarianism and equal opportunities.
For his part, His Excellency Talal Al -Hashemi, the National Director of the Emirati Special Olympics, pointed out that the participation of 15 players of determination in the Ma’i Tae World Cup, is an important step in efforts to integrate people of determination into various sports.
He stated that the inclusion of this sport within the activities of the UAE Special Olympics at the national level, confirms their commitment to expanding the prospects of support and encouragement for people of determination, and giving them the opportunity to highlight their capabilities in new sporting fields full of challenge, in cooperation with the Al -Maay Tae and Cake Boxing Union.
