starting "Guinea Forum for Arabic Poetry" Under the patronage of the ruler of Sharjah

Conakry on September 20/ WAM/ was launched yesterday under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the activities of the Arab Poetry Forum in the Republic of Guinea in its fourth session, organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs in the Department of Culture in Sharjah in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts at the University of Suffonia in the Guinean capital, Conakry, with the participation of 15 poets.

The forum was attended by Daniel Lamah, Director of General Lanana Conte in Sinvonia-Gaina and Momawi Sila, Deputy Director of the University in charge of study affairs, Dr. Al-Hussein Gallo, the first to hold a doctorate in Arab education in the Republic of Guinea, Othman Ahmed Dukouri, President of the Community Service Corporation, Abdullah Jabi, Secretary-General for Religious Affairs in the Municipality of Suffonia and a large number of Arab poetry audiences.

Kabba Imran, General Coordinator of the Forum, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Language Sciences, Director of the PhD program for Arabic Language and Civilization at the University of Suffonba in Guinea, affirmed the strong relationship between Arabic poetry and the Arabic language, indicating that the forum benefited many cultural activities in Guinea and instilled in the hearts of students the love of science and Arab poetry and noted that scholars and imams are preaching a happy future for Arab education in Guinea.

Daniel Lamah appreciated the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the Department of Cultural Affairs in the Department of Culture in Sharjah in supporting the forum and spreading the Arabic language in Africa, noting that the forum motivates young poets to creativity and enriches their aspirations and instills the love of Arabic poetry in them.

The forum witnessed poetic readings that dealt with the experiences of poets, their lives, and the praise, nostalgia, and shed feelings.
