A strategic partnership between “Dies” and "The German Council of the UAE" To support German companies in Dubai

Dubai, October 5/ WAM/ The Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones (Dis) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the German -Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Trade to facilitate the entry of German companies to the UAE market from the areas of power, enhance cooperation in the fields of the fourth industrial revolution, sustainability, smart manufacturing, and digital trade.

The signing of the agreement came during an official ceremony in “Dubai Comeriesi”, in the presence of Cibel Baff, the Consul General of Germany in Dubai, Dr. Mohamed Al -Zarouni, CEO of “Diez”, Amna Lootah, Director General of the Free Zone at Dubai Airport, and Dr. Martin Hinkman, CEO of the German -Emirati Council.

The partnership agreement provides for the establishment of the “German Business Office”, along with a joint platform for industrial innovation, in addition to the “rapid path” of German goods and companies exported across the Dubai Airport Free Zone.

Amna Lootah emphasized that the partnership establishes a new stage of growth for German companies in the future sectors, in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agency D33.

Sibel Paff praised the established economic relations between the two countries, stressing that Dubai is an ideal platform for regional expansion.

It is noteworthy that the volume of non -oil trade exchange between the UAE and Germany amounted to 50.68 billion dirhams in 2024, with a growth of 5.4% compared to the previous year.
