Dubai on the first day of Eid al-Fitr… a vibrant scene that reflects the dynamism and vitality of the city

During the first day of Eid Al Fitr, the Emirate of Dubai witnesses active activity and widespread demand for various tourist and entertainment destinations and shopping centres, driven by the diversity of events and offers that attract residents and visitors alike.

The emirate’s tourist attractions, most notably Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, City Walk, and parks and gardens, have recorded a remarkable density of visitors since the morning hours.

The moderate climate contributed to enhancing outdoor activities, while restaurants and cafes attracted large numbers of patrons.

Major shopping centers continued to offer promotions and entertainment events that attracted visitors, as they were keen to provide integrated experiences that included shopping, entertainment and hospitality, thus enhancing Dubai’s position as a preferred destination during holidays and events.

A tour by the Emirates News Agency, WAM, showed the activity of the movement since the morning in various destinations, and many of the speakers whom the agency met in the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall area confirmed that they are taking advantage of the Eid holiday to visit many areas in the emirate.

Visitors reported that they had come from outside the emirate, noting that Dubai continues to consolidate its position as a major destination for family and leisure tourism in the region.

Various regions and destinations in Dubai witness a series of cultural and family experiences and entertainment events.

The “Eid in Dubai” celebrations constitute the last stop within the activities of the Walafah season, which began with the Haq al-Laila celebrations and continued throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

A wide range of cultural sites, government agencies and public institutions in the emirate host a variety of events that allow the public to celebrate the Eid atmosphere, including cultural experiences inspired by heritage, live performances and family activities.
