Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation celebrates the Teacher Day 2025
Dubai, October 6 / WAM / The Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences at Dubai Officers Club today celebrated the World Teacher Day 2025, which falls on October 5 of each year in appreciation of the teacher’s status as the main pillar of human building and the renaissance of society, and to consolidate the institution’s message in supporting education and estimating educators who are the cornerstone of the national development process.
The ceremony was attended by the Officers Club in Dubai, a group of teachers and leaders of the educational sector in the country, where His Excellency Hamid Muhammad Al -Qatami, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, confirmed in his speech that education is the supreme giving that builds minds, illuminates paths and makes hope for generations.
His Excellency added: We learned from the first generation and in the forefront of the founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God bless him” – and our honorable rulers, the importance of the message of education and knowledge, and we realized the high status that teachers, educators and scholars enjoy, thanks to the great trust that he holds, and the great responsibility they perform in the service of the human being. And societies.
He said that our meeting today is a fruit of the blessed tree that the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may God bless him, has been installed by the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Dr. Amal Al -Qahtani, Director of the School Support and Development Department at the Ministry of Education, expressed in her speech the Ministry’s pride in the role of the teacher in the path of human building and the renaissance of the state, affirming the ministry’s commitment to continue developing the educational environment and providing teachers with the tools and support they need to carry out their lofty mission, noting that the day of the teacher is an annual station to renew the fulfillment of this great profession that makes the future and raises the community.
Dr. Khalifa Al -Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, said that the celebration of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences on Teacher Day embodies its deep message in supporting education and teachers, and turning every educational occasion into a platform to motivate capacity building and enhance the sustainability of the educational process since its establishment, the institution has placed the teacher at the heart of its strategy, as the main pillar in achieving academic excellence and social renaissance.
Dr. Maryam Al -Ghawi, Director of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Talent and Innovation, stressed that the Foundation has been celebrating the teacher and honoring him in appreciation of his pivotal role in building generations and the future industry, noting that this approach is embodied through a set of qualitative initiatives and programs implemented by the institution to support talented teachers and students.
The event witnessed a visual presentation on Teacher’s Day, which included messages of thanks and appreciation to the various teachers, and reviewed their deep impact on the national development process.
The event also witnessed the presentation of the digital conference under the title “A teacher inspiring … and artificial intelligence that contributes” which dealt with the integrative relationship between the teacher’s message and modern technology innovations.
The program concluded with a training workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence Strategies in Education”, presented by Professor Fadi Al -Najjar, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the College of Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University.
