Egypt’s candidate as general manager of UNESCO
Cairo, October 6 / WAM / The Executive Council of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was elected today, with a majority of 55 countries out of a total of 57 Dr. Khaled Al -Anani, the Egyptian candidate as general manager of the organization.
Al -Anani became the first Egyptian to lead UNESCO.
