The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South has announced the expansion of its “Airline Maintenance Units” facilities with the aim of supporting airport operators, including private aviation ground operators, by providing direct access to their customers.

Under this expansion, the number of maintenance units increased to 11 units covering a total area of 76 thousand square feet.

The facilities will also include designated shaded parking, offices, and a number of additional features specifically designed to meet the sector’s requirements. Construction work is scheduled to be completed during the third quarter of 2026.

Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project Deputy Executive Director, Mohammed Al Falasi, said: “We have expanded our services to meet the increasing demand from companies for airline maintenance services. This achievement embodies our commitment to developing pioneering facilities and building an integrated system that meets the aspirations of our customers. We will continue to make every effort to consolidate Dubai’s position as a leading global destination in the aviation sector.”
