NATO Secretary: A good day for peace and stability

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said: “Monday represents a good day for peace and stability,” referring to the arrival of US President Donald Trump in Israel to participate in consolidating the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, and the release of a number of hostages.

Rutte added, in his speech before the seventy-first session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Held in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana: “This event represents good news whose effects we hope will extend to Europe as well, as peace in the Middle East opens positive prospects for achieving security and stability in other regions of the world.”
