Production and sales of new energy vehicles in China rise in 9 months

BEIJING, 15 OCTOBER/WAM/ The new energy vehicle market in China maintained strong growth momentum in both production and sales during the first nine months of this year, according to data issued by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers yesterday, Tuesday.

The data stated that the production of new energy vehicles in China jumped by 35.2% on an annual basis to reach about 11.24 million units during the first three quarters of this year.

She added that sales increased by 34.9% on an annual basis, reaching approximately 11.23 million units during the same period.
