The Emirates Pavilion celebrates the success of its participation in… "Expo 2025 Osaka"

Osaka, 15 October / WAM / The UAE Pavilion brought down the curtain on its participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, after a six-month journey of innovation and building bridges of cultural communication, during which it received more than five million real and virtual visitors since its opening on April 13, 2025, making it among the most visited international pavilions at the exhibition.

This number includes 4,930,645 actual visitors, 113,443 visitors through the pavilion’s website, and more than 17,000 virtual visitors through the Expo platform, which embodies the great success of the pavilion and its deep interaction with the public in Japan and the whole world.
The celebration brought together the UAE Pavilion team and young ambassadors from the Emirates and Japan, along with the four official partners: ADNOC, Pure Health, Space 42, and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

The celebration program included speeches delivered by the young ambassadors and a number of the wing’s leaders, in addition to a paragraph that highlighted the wing’s journey and reviewed its most prominent milestones, values ​​and messages.

The celebration included a touching emotional moment, during which letters of thanks were delivered, written by the management team, in which they expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the work team for their distinguished efforts throughout the exhibition period.
His Excellency Shehab Al Fahim, Ambassador Extraordinary of the UAE to Japan, and Commissioner-General of the Pavilion, said on this occasion that the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka was not just an exhibition space, but rather a vibrant platform that brought together cultures and ideas, and embraced cross-border humanitarian dialogue.

He added: “Our young ambassadors, with their warm spirit and inspiring presence, added a unique character to the pavilion experience, which was consolidated thanks to the commitment of the work team, the support of our partners, and the common vision that brought us together.”

He continued: “We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited our booth and participated in this journey with us. The spirit of communication and dialogue that prevailed in our participation will remain a beacon that illuminates our journey beyond Osaka, as we continue to work for a future in which life flourishes in all its forms.”
Throughout the duration of Expo 2025 Osaka, the UAE Pavilion embodied the slogan “From Earth to Ether” through its distinctive architectural design and its interactive experience inspired by the symbolism of the palm tree in Emirati heritage. While visitors went through an immersive journey between inspiring stations, which included space exploration, innovation in health care, and sustainable technologies, in addition to live cultural performances, all of which showed how the UAE’s heritage inspires its path towards progress.

The State Pavilion was also honored by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), where it received the Bronze Award in the Architectural and Landscape Design Category for the Self-Constructed Pavilions (Category A) category, placing it among the top three major pavilions at Expo 2025 Osaka.

This honor embodies the excellence of the pavilion’s design and craftsmanship, and celebrates the spirit of creativity, cooperation and innovation that distinguished the UAE’s participation in the exhibition.
Located in the “Empowering Life” area, near the Japan Pavilion, the UAE Pavilion was an essential part of the comprehensive vision of Expo 2025 Osaka, which is “Designing the society of the future for our lives.”

The exhibition hosted more than 150 participating countries, organizations and companies, who gathered to explore ways to build a sustainable, human-centered future.

At the heart of this global dialogue, the country’s pavilion formed a bridge between cultures, embodying how tradition and innovation can complement each other to inspire common progress and unite efforts towards creating collective solutions that pave the way for a prosperous future for all.
Over the past six months, the UAE Pavilion hosted a full program of events that varied between forums, cultural performances and youth initiatives.

It also received important figures and delegations from the UAE and various parts of the world, which strengthened its position as a center for dialogue and cultural exchange.

UAE Day was one of the most prominent milestones in Expo 2025 Osaka, which was held on September 19 in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The celebrations on that day attracted thousands of visitors in an atmosphere full of pride and pride, amidst cultural performances and high-level meetings.
As the curtain falls on the participation of its pavilion, the UAE’s legacy in Expo exhibitions remains alive and renewed. From its first participation in Expo 1970 Osaka, to hosting Expo 2020 Dubai, and its return to Osaka in 2025, the UAE views Expo exhibitions as platforms for building friendships and promoting common progress.

The conclusion of the pavilion’s activities today is a natural extension of this inspiring and successful journey, from earth to ether.
