The Minister of Youth and Sports meets with the partners of the national campaign "Share…the word is yours"
As part of the state’s efforts to enhance political awareness and encourage citizens to participate positively in the 2025 House of Representatives elections, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, held an expanded meeting with representatives of partner agencies in the national campaign “Share.. Your Word,” which the Ministry is implementing through the Central Administration for Civic Education – General Administration of the Vanguards and Youth Parliament.
Representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the National Tunnels Authority, the Egyptian Company for Managing and Operating the Cairo Metro, the Egyptian Railway Authority, the Ministry of Local Development, and the National Council for Disability Affairs, along with leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation and joint coordination to implement new awareness-raising activities within the campaign, aimed at inviting young people to participate in the electoral process. Through various means, including mass transportation such as trains, metro, and buses, in addition to universities and youth centers, ensuring that awareness messages reach the largest number of young people in various governorates.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi stressed that the Ministry pays great attention to spreading the culture of political participation among young people and enabling them to exercise their constitutional rights, pointing out that casting an electoral vote is a national duty that reflects the free will of the Egyptian people, and embodies the values of belonging and citizenship. He added that the Ministry is working according to an integrated plan to spread dialogue meetings in all governorates of the Republic, while expanding the scope of partnerships with various state institutions to ensure the involvement of various groups of society, especially youth, in supporting the democratic path and active participation in the upcoming electoral entitlement. The future of the nation and consolidating the foundations of the new republic.
It is noteworthy that the national campaign “Share…the word is yours.” It was launched in 18 governorates: Sharqia, South Sinai, Red Sea, Minya, Damietta, Qalyubia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Port Said, Luxor, New Valley, Qena, Cairo, Beheira, Sohag, Menoufia, Giza, Beni Suef, and Dakahlia, and includes organizing 135 dialogue meetings with the participation of young people from youth centers, members of the Youth Parliament, the Senate simulation model, girls’ and volunteer clubs, and the YLY initiative, in total. Beneficiaries have reached 67,500 young men and women so far.
