The Netherlands sweeps Sweden by five and leads Group F in the World Cup

The Dutch national team defeated its Swedish counterpart 5-1, today, Saturday, in the second round of Group F of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The Dutch team raised its score to four points in first place in the group, awaiting the outcome of the match between Japan and Tunisia, which will be held on Sunday morning.

The Dutch team took the lead in the fifth minute through Brian Brobbey, then the same player added the second goal in the 17th minute.

In the 47th minute, Cody Jacobo scored the third goal, then the same player added the fourth goal in the 54th minute.

Sweden scored its only goal through Anthony Elanga in the 59th minute, then Crescenso Summerville completed the scoring in the 89th minute.
