Urgent: The US Federal Reserve reduces interest rates by 25 basis points

Reduce The US Federal Reserve increased the overnight lending interest rate by a quarter of a percentage point, or 25 basis points, to the level of 3.75% – 4%, according to expectations, and will end the process of restructuring the balance sheet in December.
This is the second cut in a few weeks after the September decision, when the Fed reduced the interest rate from 4.25%-4.50% to 4.00%-4.25% in the first cut this year.
And reduced The interest rate of 0.25% came by a majority of 10 votes to two votes against, as Governor Steven Meiran requested an interest rate of 0.50%, while St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank President Jeffrey Schmid preferred not to reduce the interest rate.
