In an incident that sparked widespread controversy in Türkiye, actress Sevim Erdogan, star of the series “Raspberry Syrup”, was exposed to a fraud carried out by her ex-lover, Akin E. During a farewell evening that brought them together before separation.

According to Sabah newspaper, Erdogan was helping her lover financially due to his ongoing unemployment, and she even borrowed from her mother to support him. But on the last night, after drinking drinks, the actress fell asleep, so Akin took advantage of her unconsciousness and used her phone to transfer 225 thousand Turkish liras from her account to his personal account, before leaving the house, taking the phone with him.

Although the bank later returned the amount after freezing the account, Erdogan filed an official complaint, and the Public Prosecution charged Akin with theft from inside a building and theft via information systems, with a request for a prison sentence of 5 to 10 years.
