A 5.7 Richter earthquake hits the Sandwich Islands

Hit An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 on the Richter scale, today, Thursday, in the South Sandwich Islands, which is a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean.
The US Geological Survey reported, in a statement, that The epicenter occurred at a depth of 33.2 km.
There have been no reports so far of Material or human damage as a result of the earthquake.
