"After threatening Zamalek".. Will Zizou be punished?
Hisham Nasr, Vice President of Zamalek Club, made strong statements on Al-Mehwar channel with journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour, in which he expressed his dissatisfaction with the actions of Al-Ahly player Ahmed Zizo during the coronation ceremony for the Super Championship, stressing that the incident cannot be overcome without official procedures.
Nasr explained that the player’s behavior on the podium came outside the framework of discipline and respect for protocols, and that he saw the need to refer the matter to the Disciplinary Committee without waiting for Zamalek to provide any Complaint.
He added that he avoided shaking the player’s hand after he noticed that he deliberately ignored the greeting, despite shaking hands with all the other Al-Ahly players.
The Vice President of Zamalek revealed that he informed Khaled Mortaji, a member of Al-Ahly’s Board of Directors, that Zizou’s behavior was clearly offensive, and that the latter agreed with him during the incident, but he was surprised that he published pictures of the same moment the next day on social networking sites, considering that an incomprehensible message.. He stressed that the principle that Zamalek will follow suit during the coming period, which is simple and clear, which is reciprocity.
