Maktoum bin Mohammed launches the “Dubai Auto Market” project, the largest in the world

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said in a blog post on his account on the “X” platform: “Today we are launching the Dubai Auto Market project, the largest car market in the world with an area of 22 million square feet.
His Highness added: “More than 1,500 showrooms, integrated facilities with a capacity of up to 800,000 vehicles annually, and a platform that brings together investors, companies, individuals and car enthusiasts in one place, supports the trade in electric, hybrid and conventional cars, and connects Dubai to all world markets through the DP World network.”
His Highness continued: “The Dubai Auto Market will enhance trade, attract quality investments, and support the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033, so that Dubai remains at the forefront of economic cities in the world.”
