Criticism in the US Senate of the plan to end the war in Ukraine

Ukrainian rejection of the plan

Kiev views this 28-point plan with great concern, because it constitutes a response to major Russian demands, including that Ukraine cede territory, accept a reduction in the size of its army, and abandon the idea of membership in NATO, but in return, the plan provides Kiev with Western security guarantees to prevent any future Russian attacks.
