Behind the brilliance of your cosmetics… 3 ingredients that slowly kill the beauty of your skin!

Skin care experts warn of three common cosmetic ingredients that may seem helpful at first, but in the long run they may be very harsh and cause damage to the skin’s natural barrier.
The first of these ingredients is ethyl alcohol, which is often used in cleansing products for oily skin because of its ability to dry out oils, but in return it strips the skin of its natural moisture, leading to dryness and irritation.
The second ingredient is harsh physical exfoliants (such as apricot granules), which, despite the immediate feeling of softness they provide, may cause “microscopic tears” in the surface of the skin that make it more susceptible to inflammation and infection.
Thirdly, there are artificial perfumes, which are the number one cause of skin allergies. Adding it to products to improve their scent may cause redness and chronic irritation, especially for those with sensitive skin.
Specialists confirm that moving towards gentle products that are free of these substances is the best way to maintain skin health and vitality, calling for reading the ingredient labels carefully before adopting any new product.
