Hamdan and Hazza bin Zayed visit the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition – Al Ain in its first session

Al Ain, November 26, WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, and His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, today visited the activities of the first session of the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition – Al Ain, which is being held at the ADNEC Center in Al Ain until November 30, organized by the ADNEC Group and in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers Club.
Their Highnesses toured the exhibition halls, during which they viewed a number of participating national and international pavilions, and the latest innovations on display in the fields of hunting, equestrian, falconry, camel and saluki equipment, adventure and safari activities, in addition to traditional arts, handicrafts and camping supplies.
Their Highnesses also met with a number of representatives of local and international exhibiting companies, and listened to detailed explanations about the most prominent equipment, innovations and technologies that the exhibition offers to its visitors who are fans of heritage sports, which contributes to consolidating the presence of these sports among members of society.
Their Highnesses confirmed during the tour that the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition – Al Ain represents a qualitative addition to the program of main events in the Al Ain region, given the cultural and heritage value it carries that enhances the region’s position as a leading destination in hosting specialized events and heritage activities at the local and regional levels, coinciding with the selection of the Al Ain region as the capital of Gulf tourism for the year 2025.
Their Highnesses also affirmed that the great care and interest of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” in preserving the Emirati heritage and enhancing the presence of authentic sports, constitutes an essential pillar in the success of national events that celebrate heritage and deepen the connection between generations to the values of Emirati identity.
Their Highnesses praised the distinguished organizational level of the exhibition and its success in attracting a large number of exhibitors from inside and outside the country, which reflects its advanced position as a pioneering platform that combines the authentic Emirati heritage with the latest innovations in the world of hunting, equestrianism and camping.
Their Highnesses were accompanied during the tour by His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association. His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Excellency Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of ADNEC Group, along with a number of officials.
The first session of the exhibition attracts 873 exhibitors and brands, on an area of 24,000 square metres, reflecting the great demand to participate in this event. 12 countries are also participating in the exhibition, which enhances opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
Local exhibitors and brands participating in the first session constitute 88% of the total participants, while international participation constitutes 12%, which provides an ideal platform for Emirati companies to showcase their latest products in the fields of hunting, equestrian, camping and other traditional sports.
The exhibition includes 11 main sectors, including: arts and crafts, four-wheel drive vehicles and outdoor sports equipment, camping equipment, falconry, camel, equestrian, and saluki equipment, in addition to veterinary products and equipment, environmental and heritage preservation, mobile home vehicles, and hunting and safari trips.
In terms of accompanying events, the exhibition presents more than 20 live events and heritage competitions that enrich the visitors’ experience, including a popular cooking competition in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, a workshop and an Arabic coffee competition to celebrate the symbol of Emirati hospitality, in addition to a traditional “Yola” performance competition and a heritage “Tabbah” competition, in an interactive atmosphere full of authenticity and community participation.
