The National Ambulance enhances its operational readiness during the Union Day holiday

Within the framework of its approved operational plans for official holidays and national events, the “National Ambulance” raised its levels of readiness to ensure the continuity of providing ambulance services according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency during the Union Day holiday, and in a way that supports the national response system for crises and emergencies, and in cooperation and coordination with the general commands of the police and strategic partners, the “National Ambulance” developed a proactive plan within an integrated work system aimed at ensuring the provision of an effective and rapid ambulance response to the public through high readiness and continuous coordination with the concerned authorities.
The plan includes enhancing emergency resources at celebration and gathering sites by increasing the number of vehicles and field personnel, and raising the readiness of operations officers in the National Ambulance Operations Centers to accommodate the expected increase in the volume of emergency reports during the holiday period.
The National Ambulance called on community members to adhere to prevention and public safety measures during celebrations, and to immediately call 998 when any emergency occurs that requires ambulance intervention, stressing that prompt reporting contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of the response and saving lives.
