Actress Somaya El Khashab commented on the rumors that circulated in recent days about her disappearance due to her marriage to a young man from outside the artistic community, denying these words, and confirming that her departure was for the purpose of obtaining a period of rest.
On the other hand, Sumaya Al-Khashab faced widespread criticism on social media after a series of tweets on the “X” platform in which she talked about the spread of superstitions and practices related to magic and the evil eye in some rural areas. She expressed her dislike of discussing with this group, saying: “I hear about the strangest things in the countryside. These people are very evil… magic and bullying others… I am sorry, but I hate discussing with this group,” what many considered a position carrying a racist tendency towards rural villages.
