Under the patronage of the President of the State, Hazza bin Zayed witnesses the mass wedding of 181 grooms from Al Ain

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain region, witnessed the annual mass wedding of 181 grooms from the region in Al Jahili Fort.
The mass wedding was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Dhiyab bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, along with a number of sheikhs, officials, relatives of the groom, and a group of invitees and well-wishers.
The mass wedding, which was organized by the Abu Dhabi Councils in the Office of Citizens and Community Affairs in the Presidential Office, in coordination with the Office of the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain region, and the “Madeem” initiative of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, included a number of heritage segments and events that included traditional songs, folk arts performances, and reciting poems, in addition to an air show.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the newlyweds and their families on this happy occasion, wishing them a family life full of tranquility and happiness, and that God grant them success in establishing cohesive families based on affection and compassion, which contributes to building a sustainable society dominated by stability and reassurance.
His Highness extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” for his generous sponsorship of this social event, praising his keenness to empower his citizen children and support them to establish stable and cohesive families that are considered solid foundations that enhance the process of development and prosperity in our dear homeland, a source of pride and pride in the national achievements achieved, and a constant source of the values of affection and compassion that form the foundation of our cohesive society.
The organization of the mass wedding comes within the framework of the country’s celebrations of Union Day, and in a way that enhances the goals of the Year of the Family in 2026, which celebrates the authentic values of the Emirati family and its pivotal role in building society.
On this occasion, Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Head of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, extended his deepest thanks and gratitude to the wise leadership for its constant and continuous support for young people, allowing them to establish a stable family life and relieving them of the burden of marriage costs, stressing that cohesive families constitute the basic foundation for the progress of the UAE and the prosperity of its society, and are the foundation for a cohesive society capable of building, giving, and moving forward towards a bright future.
He added that the “Madeem” initiative and the Emirati Family Growth Program “Nomu” have effectively contributed to enhancing the journey of building, establishing and stabilizing families in accordance with authentic Emirati values, in line with the state’s vision of establishing a cohesive and sustainable society capable of facing the challenges of the future and achieving comprehensive development, and ensuring the continued cohesion of its members within a framework of social cohesion and noble values.
