The death of Marilyn Monroe…a Hollywood mystery that continues after more than six decades!

The death of Marilyn Monroe, one of Hollywood’s most prominent icons, continues to arouse interest more than six decades later. On August 4, 1962, the 36-year-old actress was found dead in her Los Angeles home, the result of what was described as an overdose of barbiturates.

But the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death and the conspiracy theories that followed have raised questions about the possibility that Monroe was murdered.

According to a new report published by the Daily Mail, Monroe, who was married and separated three times, was in a fragile state in the weeks before her death.

She is said to have had a violent altercation with Robert Kennedy on the day of her death, and was in a relationship with President John Kennedy and his brother Robert, with allegations that she threatened to reveal sensitive secrets about them.

In the book The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe by James Patterson and Imogen Edwards-Jones, it is claimed that the death scene appeared to have been carefully prepared. Officer Jack Clemons, who responded to the report, described the scene as “the most obvious fake death play I’ve ever seen.”

Her housekeeper, Yunus Murray, also hinted in a 1985 interview that she was covering up important details about the death. The results of Monroe’s autopsy, which was performed by a junior medical examiner rather than a senior examiner, raised further questions, as the examination did not include all necessary tests of the organs.

It is noteworthy that her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson, and her personal physician were involved in the possibility of covering up her death or dealing with it incorrectly. Her friends confirmed that she was in danger, and her close friend Sidney Gilaroff said that Monroe called him hours before her death, panicking after an encounter with Robert Kennedy, while Frank Sinatra was convinced that she had been murdered.

Despite speculation, official investigations have not yielded any reliable evidence of a plot to assassinate her. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office concluded that the death may have been a suicide or the result of an accidental overdose, stressing that proving murder would require a massive and implausible conspiracy.

Despite all the rumors and documented facts, Marilyn Monroe’s death remains one of the most mysterious events in Hollywood history, maintaining her status as an unforgettable icon. (Arm News)
