The launch of the Global Investors Forum 2025 in Georgia

Tbilisi – Georgia, 4 December / WAM / The activities of the Global Investors Forum 2025 kicked off today in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, with the broad participation of senior officials, decision-makers and business leaders from more than 40 countries in an international economic event that redraws the investment map between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Eurasia through a unified system of cross-border cooperation and partnerships.
This year’s forum comes in a strategic partnership with the Eurasia Gulf Organization, in a major partnership with the AGI Holding Group, and with the support of the Hong Kong Business Chamber – Middle East.
Through the participation of governments, investors, international financial institutions and multinational companies, the forum discusses opportunities for cooperation in key sectors including sustainability, technology, tourism, digital money, infrastructure, food security and real estate.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Obaid Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, His Excellency Eng. Salah Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Liwa Investments, and Arif Al Abbar, Chairman of the Hobby Club – UAE, are participating in the forum, along with a large number of business leaders in the Arab Gulf countries.
In his speech during the forum, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi stressed the necessity of distinguishing between the green economy and sustainability, as the green economy focuses on environmentally friendly practices, while sustainability requires a more comprehensive vision that combines environmental responsibility, social justice, and long-term resilience.
He added that the recent results indicate that Africa’s forests, which were a source of carbon absorption, have now become a source of its emissions, and confirm that environmental measures alone are insufficient. True sustainability requires strong systems, good governance, and global cooperation. This forum, with its distinguished organization and future vision, is the ideal platform for linking investment with strategies that protect our future.
Dr. Saad El-Din Mneimneh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AGI Holding Group and Chairman of the Global Investors Forum, presented a comprehensive vision about the growing role of the Forum in consolidating economic cooperation between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Eurasia and promoting cross-border investment paths.
Today, the forum included several interactive dialogue sessions that addressed a number of pivotal economic issues, including “technology-enabled sustainability” and “investment in medical, cultural, and travel experiences.”
