US Southern Command announced that the Joint Task Force “Southern Spear” Launched "precise and lethal military strike" On a ship that was sailing in international waters.

The strike came under the direct direction of US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and was carried out against a ship operated by an organization classified on the US lists as a terrorist organization.
