More than 400,000 people were evacuated Thailandhas been withdrawn from border areas with Cambodia since clashes resumed on Sunday between the two neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, according to what the Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday.

He added "Civilians were forced to evacuate en masse due to what we considered an imminent threat to their safety".
Evacuation in Cambodia
On the other side of the border, more than 100,000 Cambodians have been evacuated from border areas with Thailand since clashes resumed Sunday between the two neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, according to what the Cambodian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday.Ministry of Defense spokeswoman Mali Suchiata said. "In total, 20,105 families, or 101,229 people, were evacuated to shelters and relatives in five provinces."Thailandand Cambodia have long ago demarcated parts of their 800-kilometre border, which dates back to the French colonial era.
