المملكة: The Minister of Hajj and Umrah praises the efforts of the King Abdulaziz Library Branch at Beijing University

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, praised the cultural and cognitive efforts undertaken by the The library contributes to enhancing cultural communication, stressing that these cultural initiatives contribute to deepening the bonds of understanding between the Saudi and Chinese peoples.
This came during an official visit to China in which he was accompanied by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, where the visit took place within the framework of enhancing the Kingdom’s cultural and cognitive presence in Chinese academic circles, and highlighting the role of the library as a A cultural bridge between the Arab and Chinese cultures.
The most prominent cultural achievements
During the tour, His Excellency was briefed on the library’s facilities. And its cultural and scientific programs, including the permanent exhibition of Arabic calligraphy and the knowledge initiatives that the branch offers to students of Peking University and visitors from various Chinese universities. His Excellency also listened to a brief presentation on the cultural projects implemented by the library during the year 2025 AD, and what is being worked on within the 2026 plan to develop multiple programs and events, and Saudi-Chinese cultural exchange.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the library branch, And the achievements achieved by the branch, and the pioneering platform it represents for cultural and knowledge communication in China, and its continuous support for programs that enhance the Kingdom’s image, history and culture in international academic forums.
