Nobel Peace Prize laureate… Machado’s first public appearance for the Venezuelan opposition in 11 months

Maria Corina Machado, prominent Venezuelan opposition figure and Nobel Peace Prize, supporters on the balcony of her hotel in Oslo at dawn today, Thursday, in its first public appearance in 11 months.
She was awarded Machado The prestigious Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in absentia after she arrived late in Norway and was unable to attend the award ceremony.
Machado’s last appearance was last January 9 in Caracas to protest the inauguration of Nicolas Maduro as President of Venezuela for a third term, before she was forced into hiding.
