And about the Saudi experience with Al-Duailej said: The beginning was in 2016, when Medina Airport was privatized in an experiment that was a pioneering global model, noting the great success achieved by the experiment, as the airport’s capacity was increased from 3 million to 8.5 million passengers, and it was agreed to increase the capacity to 18 million.

The President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation stressed that the relationship between the government sector and the private sector is based on governance, quality and organization from The government side and financing, design, implementation and operation by the private sector.
