American sources: A plan to reduce American forces from the Middle East

 American sources said that the Pentagon is preparing to reduce the level of its forces in the Middle East as part of a broad integration process supervised by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegsett.

And according to “Sky News” The plan calls for reducing the influence of the US Central Command, the European Command, and the Africa Command, by subjecting them to a new organizational structure bearing the name of the US International Command.

 

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kaine, is expected to present the details of the proposal to the Secretary of War within the next few days.

 

These moves come in the context of the US administration’s tendency to redirect military resources away from the Middle East. and Europe, with a greater focus on expanding the scope of military operations in the Western Hemisphere.
