Gold hits a new record high and silver continues to rise


Record Goldrose more than two percent to its highest levels ever today, supported by the demand for Safe Haven, and silver continued to rise to record a record high.

Gold rose in spot transactions two percent to $4,421.15 per ounce, after reaching $4,428.92 earlier in the day. For US gold futuresfor February delivery (1.6%), reaching (4455.7) dollars per ounce.

Silver rose in spot transactions by about (2.7%) to reach (68.93) dollars after recording a new high of (69.44) dollars.

Prices rose (138%) this year to Now.

In other metals, platinum jumped 5.3 percent to $2,060.8 per ounce, its highest level in more than 17 years, and palladium increased 3.2 percent to $1,767.86 per ounce, its highest level in about three years.
