The Emirati Floating Hospital in Al-Arish receives the fifth batch of the Indonesian medical team within… "The gallant knight 3"

Al-Arish, December 25 / WAM / The Emirati Floating Hospital in the city of Al-Arish received the fifth batch of the Indonesian medical team, which includes a number of doctors and nurses in multiple specialties, to work alongside the Emirati medical staff within the health care system provided to sick and wounded Palestinians coming from the Gaza Strip as part of Operation “Gallant Knight 3”.
The Indonesian team, in integration with Emirati medical personnel, contributes to providing treatment services according to the highest standards, ensuring that the hospital’s readiness to deal with critical and complex cases is increased, and the range of specialties available to patients and injured people is expanded.
The members of the new batch of the Indonesian medical team specialize in the fields of orthopedics, surgery, anesthesia, internal medicine, and radiology, which supports the hospital’s capabilities in receiving various cases and providing the necessary care for them.
The participation of Indonesian medical personnel confirms the depth of UAE-Indonesian relations, and is an extension of joint cooperation in the humanitarian and relief fields, reflecting the commitment of the two countries to support medical efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of our Palestinian brothers.
The Emirati Floating Hospital in Al-Arish continues to perform its humanitarian role within Operation “Gallant Knight 3,” by treating sick and wounded Palestinians and sheltering their companions. Its treatment services were inaugurated on February 23, 2024. It includes 100 beds for patients and 100 beds for their companions, in addition to equipped operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology departments, and laboratories.
Since its inauguration, the hospital has provided more than 12,000 therapeutic services, performed more than 5,200 surgical operations, and provided more than 6,500 physical therapy sessions, in addition to installing 26 prosthetic limbs for patients from the Gaza Strip.
