Dengue incidence in Singapore has fallen to its lowest level in 7 years


Cases of infection with Dengue in Singaporeis at its lowest levels in (7) years, with about (4) thousand recorded, and (4) deaths compared to so far in 2025.

According to data issued by the Singapore National Environment Agency, (3990) cases of dengue fever were reported in Singapore until (26) December, a decrease of about (70%) compared to (13,651) cases recorded in the year MosquitoAedes aegypti in Singapore by releasing laboratory-grown male mosquitoes, infected with Wolbachia bacteria that do not harm humans, and are used to control mosquitoes, and affect the reproduction of these disease-carrying insects.
