His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, closing ceremony Hackathon Health Innovation for Hajj and Umrah organized by the Second Health Cluster in Jeddah and the Volunteering and Community Partnership Program "Let’s take the initiative" In Jeddah Governorate, with the participation of a number of government and private agencies.
The ceremony was attended by the director of the Ministry of Health branch in the governorate, Dr. Mishal bin Misfer Al-Siyali, and the CEO of the Second Health Cluster in Jeddah, Dr. Shadi Al-Khayyat.
World Record
Immediately upon the Governor of Jeddah’s arrival, the Royal Anthem was played. After that, His Highness and the attendees watched a video presentation that reviewed the most prominent achievements of the Hackathon. He also received a Guinness Book of World Records certificate after the Hackathon set a world record as the largest hackathon for health innovation in the world.
This achievement was achieved in cooperation between the Second Health Cluster in Jeddah and the Volunteering and Community Partnership Program. "Let’s take the initiative" In Jeddah Governorate, with the participation of a number of government and private agencies.
Developing quality health solutions
The hackathon aims to employ innovation in developing quality health solutions that serve the pilgrims, empower national competencies, and enhance a culture of social responsibility.
The hackathon included 4 innovative tracks, including innovation in health products, innovation in health services, innovation in improving the health experience of pilgrims and pilgrims, and innovation in health media.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, The Governor of Jeddah honored the winners in the various tracks, in addition to honoring the participating and supporting entities.
