The authority categorically warned against the phenomenon of tampering with the fence surrounding the roads, stressing that intentionally cutting it is a clear regulatory violation that requires a financial penalty of 50 thousand riyals, in addition to obliging the aggressor to pay the costs of repairing all the damage, given the direct and grave threat this act poses to the safety of road users.

The mechanism for safely crossing camels

And within the framework of regulating movement. The Authority seeks, through these strict measures and ongoing projects, to achieve ambitious strategic goals, which is to reduce the death rate to less than 5. Cases per 100,000 people, and improving the quality of roads to reach sixth place in the world by 2030 AD, while covering the network with safety factors according to the international “IRAP” classification.
