المملكة: With 3 ministers…the Saudi Fund for Development discusses development cooperation in Syria


Meet the CEO Sultan Al-Murshid, today in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, Minister of Finance Muhammad Yusser Barneyah, Minister of Health Musab Al-Ali, and Minister of Education Muhammad Abdul Rahman Turko, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Faisal Al-Muffil.

The two sides discussed during the bilateral meetings; Opportunities for development cooperation to support various development sectors in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, within the framework of Development cooperation extending for more than 50 years around the world.

This visit confirms the importance of development cooperation between the two sides, which contributes to achieving sustainable development goals and supporting development initiatives in Syria.

The Saudi Fund for Development has provided development contributions in more than 100 developing countries around the world since its founding in 1974, by supporting and financing more than 800 projects. And a development program in various sectors, with a value exceeding $22 billion, to contribute to achieving a sustainable development impact in the beneficiary countries, which enhances their opportunities for economic and social growth.
