المملكة: With the participation of 500 works… nominations for the 8th session of the Princess Noura Award for Women’s Excellence close
The Secretariat announced Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman Bint Abdul Rahman Award for Women’s Excellence, closing nominations for the award in its eighth session, explaining the start of the evaluation and arbitration stages for the works competing to obtain the award in its six fields, which this year were distinguished by topics that are consistent with the objectives of the programs Saudi Vision 2030.
The award opened nominations in November 2025, in “six “theoretical” and “applied” fields, namely: the field of health sciences, the field of human studies, the field of social business, the field of natural sciences, the field of economic projects, and the field of artistic works, for individuals, government agencies, bodies, and scientific and cultural institutions.
A large turnout reflects the power of innovation
She explained. Secretary General of the Princess Noura Award For Women’s Excellence Dr. Rasha Al-Ghafis; “In its eighth session, the award received more than 500 distinguished works, which reflects the great demand and the creativity, quality and social and cultural impact of the entries,” she added. “The submitted works dealt with a number of topics that reflected national identity and sustainable initiatives, in addition to original studies and writings documenting the national heritage and the legacy of handicrafts, in a way that contributes to highlighting women’s creativity and keeping pace with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
It is noteworthy that the Princess Noura Award for Women’s Excellence is the first unique award to celebrate the distinguished achievements of Saudi women in the Kingdom, and to highlight It must, in a way that supports its qualitative participation in comprehensive and sustainable national development, as the award is presented annually, and its business evaluation is subject to a number of basic criteria, including: innovation, impact, inspiration, and sustainability.
