The first sessions of the Islamic Values ​​Forum in its first edition began today, Monday, at the Promoting Islamic values internally and externally, with the participation of Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi, Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs, and Dr. Saud bin Alibi Al-Ghamdi, Undersecretary for Call and Guidance Affairs. The session reviewed the most prominent initiatives and programs implemented by the Ministry to consolidate Islamic values and disseminate them at the local and international levels.

Consolidating and promoting Islamic values

Dr. Saud bin Alibi Al-Ghamdi stressed that the Ministry has become a pioneer in consolidating Islamic values and consolidating the curriculum. Moderation, centrism, and combating extremism and extremism, noting that the efforts led by His Excellency the Minister contributed to transferring values from the framework of theory to a tangible practical reality, and that the impact of these efforts appeared clear in the lectures, lessons, and Friday sermons, with a focus on Digital transformation to enhance moderate moderate discourse through the General Administration of Digital Dawa.

For his part, Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since the era of King Abdulaziz, has not neglected the internal and external advocacy aspect, pointing to the Kingdom’s efforts in building mosques and universities, holding scientific conferences, and gathering Muslim scholars from various parts of the world, and the continuation of this approach until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince – May God protect them.

Empowering preachers and external work

In the axis of empowering preachers, Dr. Saud bin Alibi Al-Ghamdi explained that the ministry worked to develop the capabilities of preachers and preachers over the past years by adopting the moderate moderate approach and holding specialized courses for preachers and imams, which contributed to raising the quality of religious discourse and enhancing its impact on society.

At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Saud bin Alibi Al-Ghamdi confirmed that the ministry carried out during the year 2025 more than one million and forty-nine thousand advocacy activities, Its impact was significantly reflected in the development of religious discourse and the promotion of the values of moderation and centrism in society.
