Thousands of flights canceled due to a strong snow storm sweeping America

Air traffic was halted in much of the northeastern United States, causing Strong storm caused heavy snowfall and strong winds across the region.

Thousands of flights were canceled Monday morning, until 10 a.m. EST, and more than 5,500 flights were canceled in the United States and abroad, and Follow updates and check with their airlines about the status of their flights, while the National Weather Service today described travel conditions as extremely difficult and nearly impossible in the areas most affected by the storm.
