Without losses…a 5.2 magnitude earthquake strikes southwest Mexico

The German Center for Geoscience Research stated in a statement that The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers in the area overlooking the Pacific coast, without reports of casualties or damage.
Mexico is one of the countries exposed to seismic and volcanic activity as a result of its geological location at the intersection of several tectonic plates, most notably the North American plate, the Pacific plate, and the Cocos plate.
