المملكة: 2,565 volunteers spend 14,000 hours in the Aramco Ramadan campaign

Saudi Aramco has strengthened its humanitarian initiatives For the blessed month of Ramadan, more than 22,000 food boxes were distributed as part of the “Blue Box” campaign, with the participation of thousands of volunteers, to embody the values of social solidarity and support for those in need in various regions of the Kingdom.
The campaign, which was implemented in cooperation with the Saudi Food Bank “Eta’am”, comes as one of the most prominent institutional giving initiatives, as the company is responsible for similar Donationsfrom its employees to double the humanitarian impact.
A large turnout of volunteers
The initiative witnessed a remarkable turnout with the registration of 2,565 volunteers from the employees and their families, who contributed 14,240 working hours to packing and preparing the blue boxes.
The percentage of Volunteer participation This year is a qualitative leap, with an increase of 55% compared to last year, covering large areas including Dhahran, Abqaiq, Riyadh, Jeddah, Ras Tanura, Duba, and Tabuk.
The “Blue Box” was designed to provide basic food supplies to needy families, in a step that goes beyond financial support to establishing a culture of organized collective work.
Community development efforts
Following the success of this initiative, Aramco launches its annual donation campaign Employees, directing support to the fields of health, education and community development, in accordance with Sharia Zakat banks.
The participating volunteers stressed that these efforts represent an opportunity to give back to society, out of their belief in the importance of making a positive and sustainable change in the lives of others.
