Drums of war.. America classifies Iran "State sponsor of wrongful detention"

Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio said in a statement, at a time when Washington is threatening against Tehran: "For decades, Iran has continued to cruelly detain innocent Americans, along with citizens of other countries, to use them as political pressure against other countries. This shameful practice must stop"
Hostage taking
He added: "The Iranian regime must end its hostage-taking policy and release all Americans wrongfully detained in Iran, steps that could put an end to this designation and related procedures."
The US Secretary of State continued "If Iran does not stop these activities, we will have to consider additional measures, including possible geographic restrictions on the use of US passports to travel to, transit through, or come from Iran.".
Meanwhile, Washington confirmed that "No American should travel to Iran for any reason"and renewed its invitation to Americans residing there to "Leave immediately".
