Saba Mubarak opens the box of the heart.. Marriage is more difficult today and I forgave my father when I became a father myself

In “The Heart’s Box and its Key,” Saba said that the idea of marriage after her previous experience did not close her heart, but it became more difficult with age. She explained that the separation of her parents during her childhood had a deep impact, and that her mother’s subsequent marriage – even though he was a “good man” – was not comfortable for her, which made her afraid of repeating the experience to her son, so she chose for a period to devote her life to him. She added that her son today encourages her to live her life, but maturity makes fateful decisions more complicated, especially as she gets used to freedom and independence.
Regarding the impact of fame and success on men, she believed that some men may be afraid to associate with a successful woman, compared to confident men who are not intimidated by a woman’s success, stressing that only a confident and successful man catches her attention, and she cannot be associated with someone who is afraid of her success.
In “The Box of Time,” she chose the femininity and naughtiness of Hend Rostom over the softness of Faten Hamama, despite her great love for the latter, considering that Hend Rostom had a “different presence and special heat” on screen. When asked about her preference for starring in a work with Omar Sharif or Abdel Halim Hafez, she said that she would choose Omar Sharif because she prefers an actor with details and complex performance, while she believes that working with Abdel Halim would have focused more on singing.
In the “Malalim Fund,” she denied that her entry into the Egyptian market was motivated by money, explaining that when she left Syria at the beginning of the events, she was receiving a “respectable” wage, even if it was slightly less than Egypt. She added that she rejected offers to return to Syrian drama during a difficult production period out of responsibility and leaving opportunities for Syrian artists, while expressing her happiness with the return of Syrian drama today and her willingness to return if she was offered a suitable job.
As for the “Assumption Box,” it completely rejected the idea of having a digital copy of itself after its passing, and considered it unethical and without calculated uses, stressing that humans remain greater than any artificial intelligence. She said that she expects artificial intelligence to answer the question of “the best non-Egyptian actress who succeeded in Egypt” based on Hend Sabry, praising her culture, experience, and cooperation with major directors.
In “What If Box,” she recounted a funny situation at the opening of the Red Sea Festival, when the zipper of her yellow dress opened completely on the red carpet, but she acted confidently and took pictures without anyone noticing.
In the most daring questions, she talked about her father, saying that she forgave him the moment she became “a father herself,” after she saw that many of her mistakes were linked to the absence of the father and the feeling of deprivation that had accompanied her for a long time.
