Ammar bin Humaid issues a decision to form committees to enhance readiness and business sustainability in the Ajman government

Ajman, 7 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Resolution No. (4) of 2026 regarding the formation of committees to enhance institutional readiness and business sustainability in the Ajman government, in order to enhance the efficiency of government work and integrate efforts between government agencies in a way that supports the stability of services provided to the community.
The decision comes within the framework of the Ajman government’s approach aimed at developing the government work system and enhancing the readiness of government agencies and their ability to deal efficiently with various operational variables, in a way that enhances the quality of institutional performance in vital sectors and consolidates the efficiency of services provided to the community.
His Highness stressed that enhancing government readiness is an ongoing trend to develop the government work system in the emirate, noting that the integration of roles between government agencies contributes to enhancing the efficiency of services and supporting the stability of vital sectors, which in turn supports the quality of life in society.
His Highness said that the Ajman government works according to an institutional approach that enhances flexibility and efficiency in government performance, ensuring the provision of services to the community with efficiency and high quality, and supports coordination between government agencies, which contributes to the stability of vital sectors and keeps pace with the emirate’s development aspirations.
The decision stipulated the formation of four committees working under the supervision of the Chairman of the Executive Council, including the Government Services Continuity Committee, the Economy and Supply Chain Committee, the Public Services Committee, and the Community Communication and Media Committee, with the aim of enhancing institutional coordination and monitoring the readiness of vital sectors in the emirate.
For its part, the Government Services Continuity Committee is responsible for monitoring the readiness of government agencies and business continuity plans, and working to enhance the efficiency and availability of basic services provided to the public according to the best standards, in addition to identifying vital services and following up on the level of operational performance of government agencies.
The Economics and Supply Chains Committee works to monitor market stability and the availability of basic goods and services, monitor economic indicators related to supply chains and coordinate with relevant authorities, in a way that enhances the sustainability of economic activity in the emirate.
While the Public Services Committee is responsible for monitoring services related to infrastructure, municipal services, transportation, and education, and working to enhance the readiness of public facilities and raise the efficiency of services provided to the community.
While the “Community Communication and Media Committee” is responsible for managing government media messages, enhancing communication with society, and providing accurate official information through approved channels, which contributes to enhancing transparency and consolidating community trust.
The decision reflects the Ajman government’s orientation towards enhancing institutional integration and developing coordination and follow-up mechanisms among government agencies in a way that supports the efficiency of government work and enhances the ability of government agencies to respond flexibly and efficiently.
This decision shall be effective from the date of its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Emirate and circulated to all concerned parties to act in accordance with it, each within its jurisdiction.
